  • Yes. We are late. Our staff battled H1N1 viruses, job losses and stresses, the tanking of our 401ks, culture-war angst, and the disappearance of Gourmet Magazine. What more need we say? Many thanks to our fabulous guest Poetry Editor, Ms. M. E. Hope. We think she made some outstanding choices, and we hope you enjoy them. The theme is “Things I Should Have Said,” and never has there been a finer collection of the unsaid as you’ll find in this issue.

  • Our next issue, March, 2010, Issue #10, is a milestone for us. Our theme will be the “Soundzine Green Issue.” Anything related to green goes. Envy. Recycling. Rebirth. Crabgrass. Jealousy. Money. And in the spirit of recycling, we’re also going to feature the “Top Ten Poems” since our founding in 2007, based on popularity.

  • Finally, we’re working on a whole new look for Soundzine. A redesigned site is painful, and change is not always an easy thing to swallow. So just in case you don't have enough stressors in your life, be ready for a whole new look next issue.

  • Ciao!  from the Soundzine staff.
