David Greenberg was born in Winnipeg, grew up in Toronto and moved to Indiana in 1995. He has been writing plays and music since his teenage years. He has been a newspaper editor, long distance truck driver, stevedore, folk singer, carpenter and worm picker. He currently resides in Paoli, IN., with his wife of 35 years, nine dogs, seven cats, eleven chickens, two turtles and a partridge in a pear tree, where he spends his time making bio-diesel, growing organic apples and preparing for the end of civilization as we know it.
 
His play, A Kite Cut Loose in the Middle of the Sky received a public reading in New York, 2006 and is scheduled for production, 2008.
